Derek Lawther read law at Queen’s university, Belfast and graduated in 1991. He was admitted to the Roll of solicitors in September 1993.

Derek trained and worked in two other city centre firms, before joining Hewitt & Gilpin in 2004. An experienced solicitor working in the firm’s Private Client Department, Derek’s caseload includes conveyancing, administration of estates and drafting of wills.
