Our experience includes:
- Helping local retailers in Lisburn and further afield to successfully challenge the John Lewis planning application at Sprucefield
- Successfully representing the developer of the proposed Bushmills Golf Course and Resort in an application brought by the National Trust in seeking to challenge the Planning Service’s decision to grant planning permission to the proposed development
- Assisting the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) to successfully challenge and prevent proposed changes to the law and guidance on abortion in Northern Ireland
- Acting for the Christian Institute in challenging and seeking clarification on the contents of the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2006
- Representing the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People (NICCY)
- Acting for local conservation groups in successfully challenging planning permission for developments within their local conservation area
- Aiding a commercial client to challenge the legality of the adoption of a draft planning policy. This case was referred to the UK Supreme Court having been heard previously in the High Court and Court of Appeal in Northern Ireland
