Heidi Doogan

Heidi Doogan has an honours degree in Law from Queen’s University Belfast and in Geography from the University of Wales, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law, Guildford. Heidi worked for a major landlord who owns and manages 110 acres of central London before being admitted as a Solicitor in England in 2002 and working in a bilingual French-English firm in her hometown of Tunbridge Wells. Heidi was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 2004, worked as a solicitor in central Belfast and joined Hewitt & Gilpin‘s Private Client department as a solicitor in 2006.

Heidi is experienced in non-contentious private client work including probate and the administration of estates, will drafting, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Controllership applications. She advises on lifetime and estate planning for individuals and is particularly interested in issues affecting the elderly.

Heidi acts for private individuals, charities and commercial organisations across the UK in the purchase and sale of houses, apartments and building sites in Northern Ireland. Heidi is responsible for re-mortgages, volume ground rent purchases, applications for possessory title and boundary rectification, complex title issues and related property matters.  

Heidi rowed whilst at Queen’s University Belfast, is a member of the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship and enjoys gardening and music.
