Litigation

We have an active presence across all courts both in Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland and recently represented a client in a matter brought before the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. We are mindful of the fact that litigation can be a stressful and often daunting experience for clients and increasingly we have had success in resolving disputes in a timely manner before litigation has commenced through the Law Society Mediation Scheme.

“Hewitt & Gilpin represented me in the recent Judicial Review case over the land at Runkerry Bay. This was a complex and difficult case and the Litigation Department did an excellent job of liaising between all the parties and their legal teams, communicating with me and the barristers, collecting and checking all the various submissions on a timely basis and providing clear and concise summaries at each stage of the proceedings. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring litigation skills.”
